Litigation

The firm’s Litigation Practice Group represents clients locally, regionally, and nationwide in all forms of dispute resolution. Cohen, Todd, Kite & Stanford believes litigation is expensive and should be a last resort for the resolution of disputes. But, in cases where trial is inevitable, the firm's attorneys are prepared to aggressively represent each client's best interest throughout the discovery, trial, and appeals processes. Attorneys in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group have depth and experience in handling complex and sophisticated litigation, as well as disputes that are smaller in scope. The attorneys understand that litigation can be costly and make a concerted effort to work closely with clients in the development of litigation strategy that is appropriate for the matter and acceptable to the client. The litigators pride themselves on their ability to manage litigation in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

Attorneys in the Litigation Practice Group have experience in a wide range of legal disputes and lawsuits, including matters involving contract breaches or interpretations, real estate and construction disputes, banking disputes, probate litigation (including will contests and prenuptial agreements), personal injury, product liability, civil rights, employment, professional malpractice, and intellectual property litigation. Criminal defense matters, including white collar criminal defense, and the defense of juvenile delinquency complaints, are handled by experienced former prosecuting attorneys.
