| Professional Experience | Mr. Rubin's practice concentrates on all aspects of commercial transactions, including commercial finance, real estate transactions, commercial loan workouts and restructures, and commercial litigation. On the transaction side, he represents both lenders and borrowers in a broad range of commercial financing and business transactions, including the purchase, sale and financing of businesses and real estate. He is also a title insurance agent licensed with the Ohio Department of Insurance and writes for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company.
Mr. Rubin represents both Landlords and Tenants in the negotiation, drafting and enforcement of commercial, retail and industrial leases. In the workout field he primarily represents lenders in documenting loan restructures, in the liquidation of assets, and the enforcement and defense of loan documentation. In the litigation field he has extensive experience in commercial loan and banking litigation.
He regularly represents one of the nation's largest banks in a broad range of commercial transactions, workouts and litigation. He also represents a large restaurant franchisee in its acquisition, financing and leasing of more than 30 restaurant facilities.
Mr. Rubin has lectured at continuing legal education seminars for National Business Institute and Lorman Educational Services on the topics of loan documentation, Uniform Commercial Code, and loan workout issues. He has received Martindale Hubbell's highest peer rating (AV), and his biography appears in Who's Who in America. Mr. Rubin also serves as a managing member of the Law Firm.

Represented a group of national banks in the financing of a $25MM revolving loan facility to the owner of consumer debt portfolios.
Represented one of three national banks in connection with several civil suits involving the largest real estate developer fraud case in this region's history.
Represented a national bank as buyer of a portfolio of consumer loans against a state bank lender claiming a conflicting interest in the assets.
Represent on a regular basis a large regional franchisee in the purchase or leasing, financing and development of Applebee's restaurants.
