The Taxation Practice Group of Cohen, Todd, Kite & Stanford, LLC encompasses planning, compliance, audits, appeals, and tax litigation.  Our tax attorneys support the firm’s other practice areas on matters pertaining to real estate, bankruptcy and reorganization, estate planning, and purchases and sales of businesses.

The taxation group includes a certified public accountant with international accounting firm experience, and a member who earned a Masters of Law in Taxation degree from New York University, the leading tax school in the United States.  This base of experience and training provides the skills to handle every type of tax matter, including those involving the most complex issues.

• Planned a multi-million dollar tax-free real estate exchange involving multiple replacement properties and new construction.
• Served as special tax counsel for unsecured creditors’ committee in the largest retail Chapter 11 proceeding in the United States.
• Served as tax counsel to special masters/trustees of mass tort settlement fund.
