Professional Experience

Kevin McDonough’s practice is concentrated in the areas of civil litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death cases, municipal law, OVI/DUI, traffic and criminal law. He participates with other members of the firm in the White Collar Criminal Defense and Business Litigation Groups.

Kevin has served with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Washington, DC, as a police officer for the City of Cincinnati, and as a police officer and firefighter for Amberley Village, Ohio. He practices extensively before all divisions of Ohio trial and appellate courts. In addition to his private practice, he also serves as an elected part-time Judge on the Butler County Area II Court.

  • Wrongful Death and Personal Injury Matters resulting in payments to victims of over $5,000,000.00,
    including:

    • Successfully represented spouse and family of person killed in an automobile crash caused by an on
      duty police officer. Prevailed despite the defense of governmental immunity.
    • Successfully represented person seriously injured while working on a road crew who was seriously
      injured when hit by a tractor trailer operated by an employee of a national trucking company.
  • Criminal and Traffic Defense
    •  Successfully represented hundreds of individuals charged with criminal and traffic offenses,
      including OVI/DUI citations (drunk driving).
